Welcome to my website. My goal is to create a supportive environment where wives of sex offenders who are on parole or probation can feel free to discuss their feelings and experiences in a shame-free way. By this, I hope to help myself and other women in similar situations cope better through this difficult and trying time.
My name is Mariah and I am married to a sex offender on parole in the state of Colorado. I am not a licensed therapist or counselor, I am however living through an incredibly hard time where my husband and I were relegated to a no-contact status by his parole officer and therapy team. It was not discussed as to why this occurred. We only know that he failed his last two polygraphs and that they believe us not having any contact at all will put him on the right track to passing his next polygraph. We have already been separated for a month and have another month to go before he takes his polygraph. His parole officer and therapists will not speak to me and he cannot speak to me or even about me to anyone. I took a chaperon class and was an approved support person for my husband, and yet they still believe that I am bad for his therapy. I have not been able to find a support group or anyone else in my position to talk to. I know that there are many women out there who feel the same way. I am interested in speaking with you via email, phone or possible in person meetings.

My email address is mariah6930@netscape.com. Please feel free to contact me if you are going through an experience that is similar to mine, if you would just like to talk or if you have any information for me.

All information provided will be held in the strictest of confidences and will not be used for any purpose other than to help me and other women in similar situations.
